IJPDCM is an Open Access journal. This means that it uses a funding model that does not charge readers or their institutions for access. Readers may freely read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles. All manuscripts submitted, including symposium papers, will be peer-reviewed by qualified scholars assigned by the editorial board.
The International Journal of Pandemic, Disaster and Crisis Management (IJPDCM) is an academically rigorous outlet for research into crisis prevention, handling, and assessment in situations that include natural disasters, technological crises, and man-made disasters. It is focused on the design, development, implementation, use and evaluation of technologies and methodologies to support crisis response and management, and accepts high quality submissions on any qualitative or quantitative research methodologists involving these criteria. It also explores issues critical to the application of information systems to crisis response and management as well as covers all aspects of crisis management, from organizational issues to technology support to decision support and knowledge representation.
