Role of ICT in Nigerian Education Sector in Post Covid 19 Era: An Empirical Investigation

ABSTRACT
This paper aims to highlight the significance of ICT tools used during and after the pandemic. The data generated using the instrumentality of the questionnaire of 120 sample participants were analyzed. The study shows that students’ use of digital technology has no negative impact on their academic performance. It was therefore recommended that; government should take necessary initiatives to deploy and technological development of ICT infrastructures or digital interventions followed by financial support and other basic amenities to combat the pandemic spread of COVID-19. This study concludes that, the importance of ICT tools during the pandemic cannot be overemphasized.
